Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing the planning and design stages of construction projects in line with the procedures and ensure and that all jobs are carried out as per the Company’s operating standards.

  • Monitor the day-to-day construction activities of the contractors.

  • Ensure work is carried out using safe working practices and is completed in accordance with codes, standards, drawings, and specifications.

  • Deals with technical queries at site level and communicates design changes with Engineering Department.

  • Studying the preferred methods of erecting/assembling structures and establishing erection sequence.

  • High standard of safe working practice, quality, and productivity as well as compliance with Code of Business Conduct.

  • Ensure that the National Content Plan is followed by all parties.

  • Managing the training and advancement of local employees and ensuring that knowledge of the company’s policies and procedures are included.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Engineering or suitable equivalent (Higher National Certificate/ Higher National Diploma) with experience.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience required in Oil & Gas Pipeline construction projects,

  • 5 years in similar position for pipeline projects.

  • Must possess construction experience in onshore pipeline installation projects

  • Staff management experience (knowledge transfer)

2. LEAD MATERIAL CONTROLLER

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all materials databases and project reporting tools are updated and maintained concisely and accurately with the latest information. The job holder will also

  • Implement materials management strategies and plans.

  • Control and management of materials from receipt at warehouse through to distribution to required site location.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 10 years Oil & Gas Materials Management experience.

  • Previous experience working within the Oil and Gas industries or other national /

multinational corporation that adheres to international standards.



  • Materials Management Systems experience

  • IT Literate (Excel / Word etc.

  • SVQ / Standard Grade or equivalent level qualification

  • Experienced in the control and management of materials from receipt at warehouse through to distribution to required site location.

  • Competent in maintaining and updating project reports accordingly.

  • Ability to identify oil and gas project materials and equipment.

  • Experience in the handling, storing and preservation of oil and gas project materials and equipment.

3. JOURNEY MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the required journey management systems are in place, coordinated and monitored effectively

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5years experience in security and or emergency management in related field.

  • 5years experience operating an IVMS

  • Previous experience working with multiple communications systems such as satellite phones, VHF radio (Very High Frequency) and simultaneously- GSM is desirable.

  • Previous experience working within the Oil and Gas industries or other national/ multinational corporation that adheres to international standards.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Able to act independently without instruction in high pressure situations.

4. JOURNEY MANAGEMENT ADMIN/MANAGER

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Researching, arranging, and coordinating travel, transportation and accommodation for employees and clients according to a specific organization’s business and budget needs.

  • Managing the Journey Management Cell, ensuring that the required journey management systems are in place, coordinated and monitored efficiently.

  • Creates detailed itineraries using programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to meet employer-specific budgets and deadlines.

  • Researches travel procedure and destination information on the Internet, creates and maintains relevant files and databases, and stays in constant communication with employees, customers and venues

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in the management of a security / emergency / or other Operations / Control Room.

  • 5 years’ experiencing in producing / maintaining / reviewing operational procedures.

  • Previous experience working within the Oil and Gas industries or other national /

multinational corporation that adheres to international standards



  • Experience with IVMS systems. Previous experience in managing communications with multiple communications systems simultaneously – GSM (Global System for Mobile communication), satellite phones and VHF radio (Very High Frequency).

  • Knowledge of relevant flight regulations and required travel documentation are a must.

  • Excellent communications skills.

  • Able to act independently without instruction in high pressure situations.

5. IT SUPPORT

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide End Users Hardware, Software and Applications support to staff and systems

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners

  • Recording and tracking service requests and incidents ensuring timely resolution and fulfilment of incidents and requests respectively.

  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks

  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests

  • Providing technical support across the company

  • Coordinating repairs and replacement of equipment as necessary

  • Continuously researching and testing new technology as the IT world is so dynamic

6. ICS/TELECOMS ENGINEER

Roles and Responsibilities

  • ICS/Telecoms Engineer will be an In-Country based Engineer with expertise in the Engineering of Oil transmission systems, pumping stations, storage / terminal facilities.

  • Assisting the construction team to interpret the approved for Construction design and responds to formal construction queries.




  • Approve modification or recognise where the proposal should be referred to the Head Office Engineering team for further consideration

Qualifications and Experience

  • University Degree, or equivalent, in related subject or equivalent trade qualification combined with further relevant training and experience.

  • Membership of a related Professional Institution or body preferred.

  • Experience within a Field Engineering role in the same or similar environment.

  • Those with degree should have 5+ years relevant experience.

  • Those with trade qualifications will typically have 10+ years relevant experience.

  • Familiarity with the site H3SE requirements.

  • Understanding of; contract scopes or work, home discipline engineering and deliverables, home discipline installation/construction techniques and approaches, and relationships between home and other disciplines.

  • A familiarity with the design tools used in the home discipline engineering.

  • Ability to interpret Local, National and Project design codes and specifications



7. ICS SUPERVISOR

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of process instrumentation, fire & gas, and safety systems, as well as the interfaces with the respective upstream Central Processing Facilities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation/Control/Automation)

  • A minimum of 10 years in instrumentation/control/ automation with at least 5 years in the construction of onshore pipeline installation projects.

  • Staff management experience (knowledge transfer)

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Advanced written and spoken English

  • Basic Computer Skills

8. GEOTECH ENGINEER

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Exploring and surveying the construction site thoroughly as well as performing various laboratory tests on soil, rock, and groundwater samples, supervise construction, and write and present reports.

  • Analyze data and study the geology of the area in order to provide recommendations for the team before construction. He/she should conduct thorough rock and soil analyses, inspect regional weather patterns, and scope nearby terrains for prospective hazards.

  • Developing a strategic investigation plan for the site.

  • Performing the geotechnical investigation as per the plan.

  • Collecting samples such as rock, sand, and similar substances from the site.

  • Analysing the ground stress which includes capacity and stress levels.

  • Executing tests on the samples and noting down the contamination values.




  • Designing the projects based on the investigation performed.

  • Taking care of geological hazards while planning the project.

  • Setting budget and time constraints on ground investigations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical engineering or any related field is desirable

  • Technical qualification in health and safety management such as NEBOSH certification, ISO 45001 etc.

  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

  • Membership of a related Professional Institution or body preferred.

  • Familiarity with the site H3SE requirements to enable safe operation of the Field Engineer and those working with and for them.

  • An understanding and or interpretation of the specific contract scopes or work.

  • Strong understanding of home discipline engineering and deliverables

  • Expertise in geology, climatology, chemistry, and mathematics.

  • Refined sample extraction and transportation skills.

9. GIS ANALYST

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Data analysis, management and manipulation, preparation, and production of mapping products for a major pipelines project and supporting the web-based GIS portal.

  • Analysing spatial data through the use of mapping software.

  • Discovering patterns and trends through spatial mapping of data.

  • Designing digital maps with geographic data and other data sources.

  • Creating “shapefiles” to merge topographical data with external data by layering external data over a topographical map.

  • Producing maps showing the spatial distribution of various kinds of data, including crime statistics and hospital locations.

  • Developing mapping applications and tools.

  • Converting physical maps into a digital form for computer usage.

  • Performing data munging and cleaning to convert data into its desired form.

  • Produce reports on geographic data utilizing data visualizations.

  • Managing a digital library of geographic maps in various file types.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in GIS or related discipline.

  • 1-3+ years of experience in the GIS industry.

  • Recent graduates with some applicable work experience will be considered

  • Proven ability and experience in the use of geospatial techniques in relation to the extraction, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of geospatial data utilising ESRI software (preferred).

  • Good level of understanding and experience with geospatial issues and geospatial techniques to acquire and manage data.

  • Proven experience with ArcGIS software, preferably ArcSDE, SQL querying and handling of CAD data.

  • Proven ability to analyse, interpret and present geospatial data to meet client requirements.

  • Proven ability to competently perform a broad range of operational tasks associated with geospatial and administrative duties.

  • Knowledge of spatial and web development technologies highly regarded.

10. GEOTECH ENGINEER

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The Senior Geotech engineer will work alongside the onsite geotechnical lead to manage the technical execution of the geotechnical drilling investigation.

  • Technical Inspection of the drilling contractor’s equipment to ensure it is in accordance with relevant codes and standards (drill rods, drill bits, sampling (SPT, Shelby Tubes, Vane Shear), consumables, sample storage, laboratory equipment etc.)

  • Review of technical quality (drilling and sampling, borehole logs, sample storage and sample transportation)

  • Ensure clear communication between geotechnical lead as well as other key personnel (site, project team and client.

  • Attend planning / mobilization brief with the Geotechnical Lead / Client and ensure that the Scope of Work and contract deliverables is fully understood

  • Carry out pre-operations check on drilling equipment, consumables, sampling equipment, storage facilities and logging equipment

  • Observe drilling contractor and geotechnical borehole logs and provide technical direction

  • Advise drilling contractor when to terminate drilling

  • Communicate progress with geotechnical lead

  • Carry out work under guidance from Geotechnical Lead

  • Produce a daily field report

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical engineering or any related field is desirable

Roles and Responsibilities




  • Coordinate contractors’ community relations in relation to pipeline construction to assure compliance to Company commitments and good international practice.

  • Explain all project social requirements to the stakeholders.

  • Concise report writing on a daily basis

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master or bachelor’s degree in sociology or anthropology.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ community relations experience in the construction industry, preferably pipeline related, is essential.

  • Excellent English communication skills.

  • Strong public speaking skills.

  • Knowledge of local community relations management and consultation methods

  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders.

  • Physical ability to work in the field.

  • Concise report writing on a daily basis.


12. FABRICATION SUPERVISOR

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day Fabrication activities of the contractors.

  • Ensure work is carried out using safe working practices and is completed in accordance with codes, standards, drawings, and specifications

  • Assigns work to department personnel to attain department objectives using knowledge of production processes, company policies, production schedules, work orders, equipment capacity and employee capabilities.

  • Readily perceives and effectively responds to schedules and product flows essential to supervising highly productive, cost-effective, quality-oriented manufacturing operations.

  • Establishes and controls procedures to meet production schedules.

  • Recommends and initiates improvements to production processes, to increase manufacturing efficiency.

  • Establish and control procedures to ensure production of conforming fabricated assembly components.

  • Monitors and controls established procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Must possess construction experience in onshore pipeline and above ground installation projects

13. FIBER OPTIC CABLE QC SUPERVISOR

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of pipeline fiber optic cable to be laid along with the pipeline corridor to carry Control, Electrical, Communication and Security Systems information between the pipeline facilities and the Control rooms.

  • Responsible for conducting fiber optic detailed network design for middle mile and last mile fiber-based networks or Fiber to Facilities projects.

  • It requires an in-depth understanding of current fiber optic design standards and industry processes. It also requires a working knowledge to perform close coordination with site fielding staff and drafting personnel to support the final product.

  • Calculate and generate all necessary splicing prints/port assignments for Fiber installations

  • For the medium voltage distribution lines, the engineer is responsible for the design and build of systems that distribute power throughout a facility. This work on a project begins with designing new systems or improvements on old ones and creating blueprints.

  • Determine electrical equipment needs and quantities for the development of new power systems.

  • Manage voltage drop, short circuit, power factor, system protection coordination, and sag and stress in a timely manner.

  • Provide engineering support to operations and maintenance of power distribution systems.

  • Monitor performances of electrical and fiber systems and recommend improvements.

  • Maintain documentation of all engineering tasks performed for future reference purposes.

  • Interact with all construction sites and suppliers.

  • Experience retrieving engineering data from multiple platforms or engineering drawings, interpreting the data, and properly distributing to technical teams and systems of record.

  • Compiling data, communicating, and providing information to construction staff.

  • Experience engaging with other employees on database systems and engaging external customers

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Engineering (Telecom).



  • A minimum of 15 years in telecom industry with at least 10 years in the construction of onshore pipeline installation projects.

14. FIELD H&S ADVISOR

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain solid relationships and engage with stakeholders.

  • Ensure thorough contractor HSE assessments and conduct evaluations and pre- qualifications as required.

  • Facilitate Incident investigations and assurance with regards to actions identified.

  • Implement and maintain an HSE programs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in safety engineering or related subject is required.

  • 5 years experience in oil & gas projects

  • Contractor evaluations/ bidding processes

  • Demonstratable management level experience i.e., H&S field supervision.

  • Competency in written/oral communication

  • Strong communication, networking, collaboration, and well-developed team-working skills, especially in multi-discipline and multi-cultural teams

  • The ability to implement and maintain an HSE program in both Green and Brownfield environments.

  • More than 10 years exposure to Greenfield environments in developing countries

  • Facilitate Incident investigations and assurance with regards actions identified.

  • Execute assurance activities

  • Assist and support the Project by tracking project specific deliverables.


15. FIELD ENVIRONMENTAL INSPECTOR

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate contractors’ activities to assure compliance to Company commitments and good international practice.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental science and management, Environmental Engineering, or any related field.

  • Master’s degree in construction management is an added advantage

  • Minimum of 5 years’ environmental supervision experience in the construction industry, preferably pipeline related.

  • Excellent English communication skills.

  • Good experience and knowledge of international ESIAs to IFC environmental and social performance standards.

  • Knowledge of construction environmental management controls in the pipeline industry.

  • Compliance enforcement including site inspection.



  • Ability to understand and explain all project environmental requirements to contractors.

  • Physical ability to work in the field and conduct inspections.

  • Concise report writing on a daily basis.


16. FIELD ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISOR

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate contractors’ activities to assure compliance to Company commitments and good international practice.

  • Participate in identifying and assessing environmental initiatives and programs

  • Oversee environmental monitoring programs associated with cultural heritage, marine ecology, water, waste, noise, air

  • Undertaking inspections, audits, and environmental monitoring. Reporting, interpretation of results and action of findings

  • Providing advice to construction teams on environmental management requirements to deliver outstanding environmental outcomes

  • Develop, implement, and maintain CEMP and associated sub-plans

  • Permitting and approvals. Developing strong relationships with councils, regulators, and other community stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree environmental science and management Environmental Engineering or any related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ environmental supervision experience in the construction industry, preferably pipeline-related, is essential.

18. ENVIRONMENTAL SUPERVISOR

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The Environmental specialist will monitor the impact of a population on the environment, identifying environmental issues, and recommending solutions. Their chief goal is to improve the living conditions of the environment.

  • Coordinate contractors’ activities as they affect the environment in relation to pipeline construction.

  • Coordinate contractors so that they deliver on Project environmental commitments.

  • Manage non compliances by taking corrective actions with the support of Management.

19. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist the construction team to interpret the approved for Construction design and respond to formal construction queries. Where alternatives to the engineered design are proposed the Role will require a level of expertise to either accept and approve the modification or to recognise where the proposal should be referred to the Head Office Engineering team for further consideration.

  • Participate in new oil field electrical related commissioning and start up. Collect and follow up instrument related issues left out by the engineering team.

  • Participate engineering work, supply technical supports and advice during design, construction, and pre-commissioning

  • Cooperate for new oil-field commissioning, start up.

  • Engineering left over issue follow up.

  • Technical support for on-site electrical equipment, electricity and power system maintenance and management. Cooperate for resolve those related issues.

  • In charge of oilfield electrical equipment, electricity, and power system management, prepare maintenance strategy, organize compile maintenance procedure, and supervise implement to ensure the high integrity and good status.




  • Ensure all electrical equipment, electricity and power system related annual inspection and certification be carried out in time

  • In charge of electrical equipment, electricity and power system related spare management, optimize spare storage

  • Participate in electrical equipment, electricity and power system related materials, spares, and service tendering, and conduct bidding evaluations especially in the technical aspects

  • Promote the development of studies and related programs to optimize electrical equipment, electricity and power system and improve efficiency.

  • Prepare electrical equipment; electricity and power system maintenance work programs as well as budget and supervise the implementation.

  • Organize electrical related emergency maintenance to ensure minimum influence on production, reduce personnel and asset damage.

  • Manage electrical equipment, electricity and power system related change and modification, organize instrument related potential risk and hazard corrective.

  • Promote scheduling of training activities and planning career development for instrument personnel, coordinate planning and implementing of personnel nationalization program.

  • Prepare electrical related reports

  • Maintain working relationship with partners and contractors in area of mutual interests for cost effective conduct of the operations

  • Execute instrument related summary and analysis, providing improvement or preventive measures.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Superior.

Qualifications and Experience

  • University Degree, or equivalent, in a related subject or equivalent trade qualification combined with further relevant training and experience.

  • Experience within a Field Engineering role in the same or similar environment.

  • Membership of a related Professional Institution or body preferred.

  • At least 5 years related working experience in engineering design experience in oil &gas industry.

  • International working experience in oil &gas project is an added advantage.

  • Extensive knowledge of the criteria, procedure, and software of the discipline

  • Good skills of office software and Auto CAD.

  • The Senior Geotech engineer will work alongside the onsite geotechnical lead to manage the technical execution of the geotechnical drilling investigation.

  • Technical Inspection of the drilling contractor’s equipment to ensure it is in accordance with relevant codes and standards (drill rods, drill bits, sampling (SPT, Shelby Tubes, Vane Shear), consumables, sample storage, laboratory equipment etc.)

54. NC TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT LEAD

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Improve the productivity of the organization’s employees.

  • Assess company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees.

  • Actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance.

  • Liaise with EPcmC HR, Discipline Leads and Package Delivery Managers and relevant Coaches and Mentors to gather feedback on designated employees’ performances, training and skills development needs.

  • Maintain meticulous records of feedback from Coaches, Mentors, Discipline Leads and Package Delivery Managers for each employee on the scheme.

  • Assist in the development and administration of the EACOP Train the Trainer programme.

  • Conducts annual training and development needs assessment.

  • Develops training and development programs and objectives.

  • Administers spending against the departmental budget.

  • Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.

  • Trains and coaches’ managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.

  • Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events.

  • Develops and maintains organizational communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.

  • Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.

  • Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experienced in the control and management of materials from receipt at warehouse through to distribution to required site location.

  • Verifiable experience of developing human resources and administering organization-wide training and development programmes for a medium to large organization.

  • Excellent people skills is a must.

  • Excellent communication and computer skills, (Microsoft – Excel, Word PowerPoint, SharePoint & Outlook) is a must.


55. NATIONAL CONTENT REPORTING LEAD

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collect, collate, and analyse EPcmC National Content data.

  • Monitor the timely uploading of Level 1 contractors’ & Suppliers’ National Content data to the cloud based LCRP and sense check data and report anomalies to the EACOP/EPcmC integrated Local Content /National Content Team.

  • Liaise with the EACOP / EPcmC integrated Local Content /National Content Reporting Team

to assure timely submissions to the authorities.




Qualifications and Experience

  • Materials Management Systems experience.

  • Verifiable experience of operating a similar cloud-based data collection and reporting application.

  • Excellent people skills.

  • Excellent communication and computer skills, (Microsoft – Excel, Word PowerPoint, SharePoint & Outlook).


56. MATERIAL CONTROLLER

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all materials databases and project reporting tools are updated and maintained concisely and accurately with the latest information.

  • Implement materials management strategies and plans Oversees all third – party Verification, inspection (as required), and receipt of all project material.

  • Control/store/preserve Inventory and Equipment as per industry standards and operational requirements.

  • Capture all transaction in electronic system and report accordingly.

  • Interact with Operations Department to supply to sites fit for purpose materials as per operational requirements.

  • Implement all necessary standards and supervision to comply with HSE objectives.

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to align to nationalization plan and transfer of competency.

  • Overall accountability for supervising and leading the field materials and logistic team.

  • Supervise premises and personnel in relation to safety and objection performance.

  • Arrange and segregate materials in corresponding location

  • Consolidation and integration of material returns from the rig site and other project sites

  • Requisition – purchase requisitions for consumables in the warehouse/ yard

  • Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse and material yard

  • Perform any other duties assigned by Superior.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • 5 years Oil & Gas Materials Management experience.

  • Materials Management Systems experience.

  • Experienced in the control and management of materials from receipt at warehouse through to distribution to required site location.

  • Competent in maintaining and updating project reports accordingly.

  • Ability to identify oil and gas project materials and equipment.

  • Demonstrable safety leadership experience.

  • Proven ability to work to demanding project schedules

  • Promote H2S policy and other regulations such as LOLER, Environmental, COSHH, Dangerous

Goods, etc.



57. LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Roles and Responsibilities




  • Provide effective and efficient field support services to the company operation and develop all operation policy & procedures.

  • Responsible for all Logistics interface between EACOP – EPcmC Logistics / Supply Cain / all Construction Contractors / Main Logistics Contractors on site along the ROW.

  • Coordination of project site logistics requirements with contractors.

  • Transportation of materials from one project area to another.

  • Coordinating with the contractor to ensure that vehicles fit for purpose are provided for infield Jobs.

  • Ensure strict implementation of QHSE SOPs in transportation and handling of project materials.

  • Response for formulation and revision of procedures/policies governing logistics functions.

  • Assist in annual work plan and budgeting process and implementation of plans

  • Other duties assigned by superior.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

  • Professional Certification in Supply Chain Logistics desirable.

  • 5-8 yrs. minimum in project traffic & logistics on site experience.

  • Must have experience of Logistic Management and Field related work with specific experience in Logistic project work.

  • Effective communication with clients.

  • Must have good and proven IT skills.

  • Operates well in multi-company team environment.

  • Knowledgeable and up to date with Project Logistic / Supply Management policies and procedures.

  • Knowledge of Logistic Management Systems / software and I capable of producing reports

and briefings.
